Al-Refai denies resignation of Tarawneh government

Chairman of the Jordanian al-Ayan Council (Parliament's upper house) Zeid al-Refai on Thursday in Amman denied news that Jordanian Prime Minister Fayez Tarawneh had submitted his resignation to King Abdullah on Thursday. Al-Refai in Amman told SANA that Tarawneh did not submit his resignation and he (al-Refai) was not asked to form a new government. Al-Refai called upon the mass media to be precise and to commit to fact-finding in their work.
