Saudi Arabia finances Jordanian projects

Sources in the Jordanian Ministry of Planning stated that Saudi Arabia agreed to finance Jordanian infrastructure projects, clarifying that an agreement took place during the visit paid to Saudi Arabia by a Jordanian economic delegation under the chairmanship of Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development Taher Kanaan, and including Minister of Finance Michel Marto as well as Minister of Planning Nabil Amari.
The Jordanian delegation returned to its home country today after a visit to Saudi Arabia that lasted four days, during which its members met with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Economy and Finance Ibrahim al-Asaf, Minister of Trade Usama Jafer Fakih, manager of the Saudi Development Fund Mohammed El-Saghir and other officials.
