Saudi minister of trade visits European Union countries

Saudi Minister of Trade Usama Jafer Fakeh arrived in Brussels today leading a commercial and economic delegation to convene with Sir Leon Brittan, the deputy chairman of the European Commission, at the beginning of the delegation's tour of the countries of the European Union.
The Saudi minister is to discuss many issues with Brittan, among which is Saudi Arabia joining the World Trade Organization.
He will also discuss activating cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the European Commission's, the Commission's support for the peace process in the Middle East and the importance of Europe's confrontation of Israeli violations of the Palestinian territories especially in Jerusalem and Galilee.
