Saudi company protests over paying 65 million dollars to U.S navy

The Saudi national company for naval transport protested over the request of the US Navy to have a guarantee worth $65 million to make up for the harm caused by a collision that took place at the beginning of current month between the Saudi Riyadh ship affiliated to the company and the American ship USS Arthur W. Radford, after the captain of the US ship was accused of being carless.

The national company for naval transport said in a statement yesterday that its lawyer has protested over the request of US Navy for a guarantee worth $65 million

Moreover the lawyer of the Saudi company emphasized that the investigation in the accident are still going on by the U.S specialized fronts, because the accident took place in the American regional water and because they did not specify yet the reason of the wrong.
