Bulgaria cancels entry visa requirement for Qataris

Qatar's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that Qataris who desire to travel to Bulgaria can do so without having an entry visa.
AFP quoted the Qatar News Agency as saying that this new measure has come after a new law in Bulgaria was released and was considered valid as from January this year.
The Bulgarian government on last Thursday decided to impose the law of prior entry visas on citizens of countries which are viewed by the European Union as risky countries because of the illegal migrations of their people.
The decision states the need to get an entry visa to Bulgaria by citizens of the former Soviet Union excluding Russia, Ukraine and Georgia, and a few Arab and African states.
