Moroccan-Sudanese cooperation commission meets in Khartoum

The Moroccan-Sudanese cooperation commission opened Monday in Khartoum its fourth session to look into ways of enhancing partnership between the two countries in various industrial and commercial sectors.
The commission's agenda includes several projects destined to spur trade exchange and economic cooperation between Morocco and Sudan.
The business opportunities available in both countries, the incentives granted to investors as well as the reinforcement of air and sea links and contacts between the Moroccan and Sudanese private sectors will also be reviewed by the commission, which is to wind up proceedings Thursday.
Minister of Trade, Industry and Handicraft, Alami Tazi, who is leading the Moroccan delegation, had side-talks with several Sudanese officials on bilateral relations and cooperation prospects in agriculture, fishing, handicraft, livestock, scientific research, industry, textile and pharmaceuticals.
The Moroccan minister was also received by President Omar Hassan El bashir.
