18 American companies discuss establishing environmental projects in Egypt

A delegation comprised of 18 US companies' representatives is currently visiting Cairo to hold commercial discussions with Egyptian industrial companies to provide the Egyptian firms with modern technology that limits environmental pollution.
Tim Ojeron, head of the commission, stated in press declarations today that the delegation's visit includes Egypt, Jordan and areas under Palestinian authority.
He said that the US Agency for International Development (USAID) made a study concerning the Egyptian market that estimated the private sector's needs in Egypt at $700 million in order to qualify these companies to become friends of the environment.
