Tunisia Supports Portugal's Euro-African Summit Initiative

Tunisia said it supports a Portuguese initiative to convene a Euro-African summit, that is likely to be held during Portugal's chairmanship mandate of the European Union (first half of 2000).
Tunisian prime minister, Hamed Karoui, who is visiting Portugal said, following a meeting with Portuguese peer, Antonio Gueterres, that the two countries have decided to upgrade bilateral cooperation as part of Euro-African cooperation.
