Canada's general governor starts three-day state visit to Morocco

Canada's general governor, Romeo Leblanc, will start next Thursday a three-day state visit to Morocco, following an African tour that comprises Cote D'Ivoire, Tanzania, and Mali. According to top Canadian officials, this first visit, ever paid by a general governor of Canada, is the most important stage of this tour.
The representative of the British crown will be accompanied by Diane Marleau, federal minister of international cooperation and francophony, and a delegation of representatives and senators, businessmen, delegates of non-governmental organizations, artists and intellectuals.
The Canadian official who will arrive to Morocco on Wednesday evening, is scheduled to have talks with Moroccan officials and businessmen.
