Cairo hosts international conference to discuss privatization in North Africa

Cairo is witnessing today an international conference for privatization and the industrial restructuring in the Middle East, addressing international energy policy and mine workers, as well as economic and social development in North Africa and the Middle East.
The secretary general of the Egyptian workers union, Mohammed Morsi, confirmed that the conference will discuss the condition of chemical industries and mines as well as challenges that face workers' unions and methods of dealing with multinational companies in international markets.
The conference will also tackle the status of European Union with the North African and Middle East countries as well as methods of cooperation between Europe and Middle East countries.
