Increasing French investments in Egypt

In press statements French Minister of State for Trade and Economy Christian Pierret said a large number of French companies are planning to increase their investment in Egypt.

The French minister, who is currently in Cairo, referred to the great concern of the French with enhancing economic and commercial cooperation and increasing French investments in Egypt, announcing that French companies will contribute to the privatization program implemented by the Egyptian government, citing the interest in Beni Suef Cement Company.

During his two-day visit to Cairo, the French minister said he held meetings with Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri and the ministers of trade, petroleum, defense, production, communications and public works as well as with the Egyptian - French organization.
