Jordan for better relations with Syria

Jordanian Foreign Minister Abd al-Ilah al-Khatib has asserted the desire of Syrian and Jordanian officials to boost bilateral relationships between the two "sisterly" countries. In a statement to the Jordanian daily al-Majd, al-Khatib noted the numerous ties linking the two peoples and countries. He also indicated Jordan's desire to strengthen its relations with all Arab states.
