Nahnah nominates himself for Algerian presidential elections

Chairman of the Peaceful Society Movement in Algeria, Sheikh Mahmoud Nahnah, has announced his nomination for the presidential elections to be held on April 15.
In a press conference Nahnah called for thinking of the post-terrorism era to deal with elements of the crisis and eliminate hatred among Algerians in the present and future.
On the other hand, one of the Armed Islamic Group's (GIA) leaders, who goes by the name of Yazid Mubarak, prince of Annabah and al-Taref, was killed by the group of the national prince of the GIA, Antar Zawabri, following internal disputes.
The Algerian daily al-Aseel issued on Monday said that the Algerian security forces are carrying out vast mopping-up operations in Bu Qintas district and Eidough mountain in the province of Annaba.
Meanwhile, the criminal court in Bouira province sentenced one GIA member to death for killings.
