Palestine-Israel, Politics, 2/23/1999
Advisor of the chairman of the Palestinian government, Nabil Omar, on Monday reiterated the Palestinian commitment to implementing agreements signed with Israel.
Omar denied any connection between the implementation of these agreements by the Palestinians and the forthcoming Israeli elections, Israel Radio said.
The radio report added that the Palestinian government is carrying out an arrest campaign among the Palestinians in response to the demands of the Israeli government on the possibility of military operations by the Palestinian resistance during the forthcoming Israeli elections.
