Kuwait, Iran for boosting parliamentary relations

Chairman of the Iranian Shoura council Sheikh Nateq Nouri on Monday in Tehran received Kuwaiti Minister of Information Youssef Muhammad al-Sammit, currently visiting Iran.

Talks dealt with bilateral relations between Iran and Kuwait and means of developing and consolidating them especially in the parliamentary and information fields.

The two sides also discussed developments in the region, and regional and international issues of mutual concern.

The two sides underlined the importance of maintaining cooperation between the two countries in regional and international circles in order to deal with certain issues in the region.
