Mubarak receives Arafat

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak today received the chairman of the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and held with him a round of bilateral talks. Later the meeting was joined by the Egyptian Foreign and information ministers, President Mubarak's advisor for political affairs Dr. Osama el-Baz.
The Palestinian side was attended by the official in charge of planning and international cooperation for the Palestinian government Nabil Shaath, the PLO representative in Cairo Zuhdi al-Qudwa and Arafat's media advisor Nabeel Abu Rudenah.
