Hillary Clinton due to visit region

Hillary Clinton, wife of the US President Bill Clinton, is due to pay a visit to Egypt in the third week of the coming month during which she will visit antiquities in Luxor city.

Informed Egyptian diplomatic sources said that during the three-day visit Ms Clinton will pay a visit to a Red Sea tourist city in addition. US First Lady Clinton will meet with Egypt's First Lady Susan Mubarak in Cairo to learn about family and child care in Egypt and to see Egyptian women's role in development.

Meanwhile, First Lady Clinton will pay a private visit to Morocco next week, MAP said the Moroccan press reported on Saturday. "Preparations are underway" for this visit, "Bayane Al-Youm" daily wrote, adding that Hillary will mainly visit the imperial cities of Fez and Marrakesh, Map said. Her visit also include Tunisia. She will participate in a special conference about women that will be held in Morocco in March.
