Washington asks Taleban to find Bin Laden and expel his partisans

A well-informed source in Washington said that an official at the US Undersecretary of State for Southern Asian Affairs Karl Inderfurth informed the Taleban's representative Abdul Hakeem Mujahid, who is a Taliban representative based in New York City that the movement is asked to find Osama Bin Laden and to hand him over to face justice.
The US called for expelling members of Bin Laden's network and to close down camps for training terrorists in the areas falling under its control.
A well-informed source in Washington said that an official at the US state department that the US Under Secretary of State for Southern Asian affairs Karl Inderfurth informed Taleban's representative that the movement was asked to find out Bin Laden and to hand him to the US.
He also called for "expelling members of Bin Laden's network and to close down camps for training terrorists in the areas falling under its control." The US official added that Taleban's representative informed the US officials that Bin Laden is not any more in the areas falling under the control of Taleban but he could not give information on the place of his existence or the region he will head for.
The US official said that the US administration does not have information on whether Bin Laden is inside or outside Taleban areas.
