Maltese commercial delegation to visit Cairo

20 Maltese businessmen are to visit Cairo starting from Saturday through Monday, marketing their products as well as finding agents, importers and distributors.
John Gat Rater, the commercial attache at Malta's embassy in Cairo, said that the Maltese delegation includes businessmen working in the fields of furniture, food industries, computers, electronics, cosmetics and decoration.
Rater said the volume of Malta's exports to the Middle East reaches $1.6 billion annually, which forms half of the volume of Maltese exports to Europe and North America.
This visit is organized by the Maltian corporation for foreign trade, the union of Egyptian trade chambers, the Maltese - Arab trade chamber, Banko Fvelletta and Mid Bank, the two largest banks in Malta.
