Moroccan premier and UNESCO chief call for fair international relations

Moroccan premier, Abderrahmane Youssoufi, and UNESCO director general, Frederico Mayor, called Wednesday in Rabat for fair international relations and for the respect of human values.

At a meeting held in Rabat on the fringes of the regional conference on Human rights education in the Arab world, the two men underlined the importance of respecting human rights principles in all sectors and in everyday life.

They also reviewed the evolution of human rights on the international scene and hailed the efforts made by the Kingdom to promote human rights culture and education.

After his participation in the regional conference on human rights education in the Arab world, the UNESCO chief will also attend this week in Morocco the inauguration of "Dar Adiyel" palace which was rehabilitated by Italy and UNESCO.
