Morocco and Croatia agree to boost trade exchanges

Morocco and croatia agreed Wednesday to develop and diversify their trade exchanges and economic cooperation.
An accord was initialed in this regard by Moroccan trade and industry minister Alami Tazi and visiting Croatian economy minister Nenad Pogoes.
The two men reviewed on the occasion the business opportunities offered in the two countries mainly in fishing, phosphates, agricultural and industrial sectors.
They also affirmed that the accord is part of the two countries' commercial strategies to diversify partners and seek new markets for their products.
Trade exchanges between Morocco and Croatia reached in 1997 around $ 25 Million. Morocco's exports to croatia consist mostly of phosphates, canned fish and mining products while imports are made of wood, iron and various semi-finished items.
