Speaker of the Moroccan house of representatives in Budapest

Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Abdelouahed Radi, conferred Wednesday in Budapest with several Hungarian officials on ways of boosting partnership in several sectors of common concern.

Radi, who arrived Tuesday in Hungary on a four-day work visit, met mainly with the prime minister, the foreign minister and the speaker of the Hungarian parliament.

Talks focused on cooperation prospects between the Moroccan and Hungarian legislative bodies, the Sahara issue, the Middle east peace process and the next Euro-Mediterranean parliamentary conference due in Stuttgart this year.

The speaker of the Moroccan House of representatives also reviewed with Hungarian officials latest developments on the international scenes and ways to spur trade exchanges, investments.

Incentives granted to foreign investors, Morocco's economic performance and efforts to enhance democracy and promote human rights were raised during the Moroccan-Hungarian talks.
