Belgian group ready to assist Morocco renovate its railway network

The Belgian "Export Vlaanderen" group said Tuesday it is ready to assist Morocco renovate its railway network in partnership with international finance institutions.

At a meeting held in Rabat with Moroccan minister of transports and merchant navy, Mustafa Mansouri, the manager of the Belgian group surveyed the products and services which can contribute the development of the Moroccan railways and boost their performance.

The Moroccan railway office announced it has earmarked around $ 121 Million for a project to revamp and extend the railway network in Morocco.

A delegation from the Belgian group is visiting Morocco to prospect the potentials of the Moroccan market and identify the business opportunities offered in trade and industry.
