El-Baz: Egypt - Jordan relations are close

The political advisor to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Osama El-Baz, confirmed that Egypt is using all its potential and abilities for Jordan's interest, as Egyptian - Jordanian relations are very close, relying on a fixed basis of cooperation, coordination and consultation.
In press statements, El-Baz said President Mubnarak informed Jordan's King Abdullah bin Hussein of Egypt's complete and permanent support for Jordan.
El-Baz said that Arab support for Jordan at this stage confirms that there is a limit for Arab solidarity.
