Remaining Jordanian detainees to be released by Kuwait next week

Jordanian political sources expected that the last group of Jordanians and Palestinians detained in Kuwaiti prisons will be released on February 25. The group could be released according to a pardon issued by Kuwait Emir Sheikh Jabir al-Ahmed al-Sabah on the occasion of the Kuwaiti national day, but the sources said it is more likely that the Jordanian and Palestinian detainees would be released in light of improving bilateral relations between Jordan and Kuwait.
