Continued Israeli aggressions against Lebanon, one Israeli soldier killed

News reports from south Lebanon said that an Israeli soldier was killed and four others wounded as a result of the resistance operations carried out last Monday night and at dawn on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes on Tuesday afternoon attacked the western sector area of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said two Israeli jet fighters fired an air-to-surface missile against the Wadi al-Dib area between Kafra and Yater towns. The Lebanese sources added that the Lebanese Army's anti-aircraft guns fired on the planes, which responded by deploying thermal balloons. Damages were inflicted on properties and plantations as a result of the Israeli raids.
A group of the Lebanese resistance men at dawn on Tuesday attacked a joint Israeli - South Lebanon Army militia military position in Beaufort. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said the position was directly hit by the fighters.
Another resistance group attacked, simultaneously, al-Muthalath position, and its fortifications were directly hit, the statement added.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday bombarded, using heavy artillery, the outskirts of Farroun, al-Ghanourieyeh, Wadi al-Hajir, the Litani river area, Zouter East, Zouter West, Majdal Soloum, al-Sawanneh, Khurbet Soloum, Burj Qelweh and Yahmour plain. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli bombardment was linked to mopping-up operations by troops carrying heavy machine guns in the valleys surrounding the occupation positions in al-Shaqif castle, Tallet Muheibib and al-Teibeh project.
Moreover, Israeli warplanes carried out mock and provocative raids over al-Nabatieh and the al-Tuffah district flying at low altitudes. They were fired on by Lebanese Army and resistance anti-aircraft missiles.
For the second running day, the Israeli occupation forces, closed Kafet Tabnet crossing in the central sector of south Lebanon.
