Israel would study Hawatemah request

Israeli political sources said on Tuesday that the Israeli government would study the request of the secretary general of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Nayef Hawatemah, or a request by the Palestinian government to permit Hawatemah to enter into areas controlled by the Palestinian government in the West Bank and Gaza, when such a request arrives, Israel Radio said on Tuesday
The Radio quoting these sources said that authorities concerned in Israel do not intend to approve such a request, out of their belief that Hawatemah still strongly opposes the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians and because he did not denounce what the radio termed as "terrorism."
