Palestine-Israel, Politics, 2/16/1999
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to annex the Palestinian territories in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, already occupied by Israel, and to impose Israeli law on these territories if a Palestinian state is announced on May 4.
In statements quoted by Israel Radio on Monday, Netanyahu threatened the Palestinians with new measures. He allegedly added that the Palestinian have only the right to have limited self-rule, where there are no foundations for a state.
