Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz announced on Monday in Ankara that he expressed during his talks with Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit his country's concern towards the US use of the Turkish air base in Incirlik in shelling positions in northern Iraq.
Aziz said following a three-hour meeting with the Turkish side led by Ecevit that during the meeting the two sides reviewed all matters pertaining to bilateral relations between the two countries.
Aziz added that Turkey's security is security for Iraq and that Iraq's security, stability and prosperity has a direct impact on Turkey.
