Jordanian monarch gives order for Tarawneh's government to continue work
Jordan, Politics, 2/15/1999
Jordanian Prime Minister Fayez Tarawneh stated yesterday that King Abdullah placed his trust in Tarawneh's government, formed on August 20, 1998, and commanded him to resume work after placing himself at the King's disposal after the death of King Hussein.
In his address before the deputies council, Tarawneh said, "I was honored to meet King Abdullah and he assured his confidence in the government that was also trusted by the late King Hussein," adding that he was ordered to go on with the same methods ordered by King Hussein.
