Aziz arrives in Turkey

Iraqi Deputy Premier Tariq Aziz arrived on Sunday in Turkey where he will start a working visit to this country at the invitation of Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit. Aziz arrived at al-Khabour border center and was taken by military helicopter to the Deyar Baker district before he headed to Ankara.
Today Aziz will start his political contacts in Ankara where he is scheduled to meet with Ecevit, with the Turkish army chief of staff Gen. Hussein Koriko Oglo and high ranking officials at the Turkish foreign ministry.
