Four Israeli air raids on south Lebanon

Israeli warplanes on Thursday raided the central sector of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli warplanes on Thursday carried out four raids on Nab al-Jarnanin district on the northern side of Majdal Suloum town and dropped two missiles in each raid.

The sources added that Lebanese army anti-missiles artillery intercepted the enemy planes which deployed thermal balloons.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces renewed their attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery bombarded on Thursday al-Hajir valley and the outskirts of Toulin, Abrak Qelweyah and al-Ghandourieh.

In retaliation, the Lebanese resistance attacked Israeli and Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia positions in Sujoud and Barachit, using mortars, machine-guns and rockets.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said precise hits were scored against the positions and that the fortifications of the two positions were destroyed.
