Sharon cancels meeting with Fischer

Israeli Foreign Minister Ariel Sharon on Thursday canceled a meeting which was scheduled with his German counterpart, Joschka Fischer. According to a spokesman for the Israeli Foreign Ministry, doctors recommended that Sharon stay at home for several days because of wounds he received as a result of a car accident. The spokesman stated that Sharon was injured several days ago in a car accident, but he gave no further details.
