Libya: progress in finding peaceful solution for crisis

Libyan Foreign Minister Omar El-Montaser assured yesterday that progress had been made on the method of settling the Lockerbie case.
At the conclusion of a two-day visit to Tunisia, he said things are positively developing and that a remarkable progress took place regarding the guarantees demanded by Libyan for trailing their citizens in the Lockerbie case.
On the other hand, Tunisian President Zein El-Abidin bin Ali stated during meeting with US Secretary of Defense William Cohen that Tunisia's stance aims at finding a solution for the Lockerbie case that guarantees the rights of all parties to lift the embargo.
