European Union delegation to visit Jordan on Saturday

A delegation from the European Union is to visit Amman, Jordan on Saturday in the framework of the regional tour of German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, whose country currently holds the rotating EU presidency; the EU commissioner for Middle East affairs, Manuel Marin; and EU peace process envoy, Miguel Moratinos to capitals in the Middle East from February 11 - 14.
The talks will stress means of developing economic cooperation and political discussion between the European Union and Jordan, especially in the light of the changes the country witnesses following King Hussein's death and the accession of King Abdullah II to the throne.
