Morocco and France Senates sign cooperation accord

The Moroccan Chamber of Advisors (upper chamber of the parliament) will sign this week in Paris a cooperation accord with the French Senate. The accord -- to be initialled by Mohamed Jalal Essaid, Speaker of the Moroccan senate and French peer, Christian Poncelet -- provides for the exchange of experience and data in various sectors of common concern.
The Moroccan official, who is expected in France this Wednesday, will meet with a number of French cabinet members, Mps and representatives of major political parties.
Talks will focus on Moroccan-French partnership, relations between Morocco and the European Union, Morocco's economic performance, incentives granted to foreign investors and efforts to enhance democracy and human rights culture. (MAP)AZ
