Arafat praised new Jordanian King

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat has praised Jordan's King Abdullah, whom he met on Monday in a special session. Arafat stressed the importance of King Abdullah in the Middle East peace process.
In a statement to reporters immediately upon his arrival in Gaza from Jordan Arafat added: "The Jordanian King will continue this role which we consider as very important not only for peace between Jordan and Israel but also for just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East."
Arafat added there are important work and great responsibilities before King Abdullah Bin Hussein, "We are behind him, beside him and with him in all these difficult responsibilities."
