AL paper to lift economic sanctions imposed on Iraq
The Arab paper on lifting UN sanctions against Iraq will be discussed by the ministerial committee in its forthcoming meeting to be held in Damascus shortly, chaired by Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa. Officials sources in Cairo said that the AL secretary general handed Iraqi envoy Nabil Nejm a copy of this Arab paper.

Lebanese resistance attacks five Israeli positions
