Arab Journalists Union to discuss Arab developments tomorrow

The meetings of the general trustees of the Arab Journalists Union are to start tomorrow in Cairo under the chairmanship of Ibrahim Nafa, editor-in-chief Egypt's al-Ahram newspaper and chairman of the Arab Journalists Union.

Salah El-Din Hafez, the union's secretary general, said that lots of issues will be discussed, topped by the developments of the Arab situations, especially the last Iraqi crisis, the jailing of reporters in some Arab states, and the repeated Israeli attacks on Palestinian reporters, preventing them of practicing their job of covering general events as well as discussing the Iraqi delegation's request to presenting the US military strikes against Iraq on the meetings' agenda.
