Egyptian opposition parties sympathize with the Jordanian people

Political organizations and parties in Egypt expressed sorrow over the death of Jordan's King Hussein, asserting that the Arab and Islamic states have lost a great man who treated his people with love, care and provided stability through 47 years.

The Egyptian opposition hope that Jordan would continue a policy that supports democracy and the formation of parties that have a leading role in free expression and the opinion of Jordanian people.

The deputy chairman of the opposing Wafd Party, Yaseen Serag El-Been, expressed his great sorrow over King Hussein's death, stating that Jordan will adopt his policy in all domains.

The head of the opposition Assembly Party, Khaled Mohiey El-Deen, expressed his belief that Jordanian policy will continue as before in all domains.
