The London-based "al-Muharrir news" quoted a Jordanian governmental source as saying that the visit which will be held by the Israeli Premier Netanyahu and his Foreign minister Ariel Sharon to Amman on Sunday has an electoral objective in that it intends to give the impression that there are firm relations between the Likud and the new Jordanian crown prince Abdullah. The source explained in its statement to the weekly that Netanyahu was the one who asked for the visit and that King Hussein was informed about the request before it was agreed upon and a date was fixed for it.
