Morocco expresses readiness to support inter-African cooperation
Morocco-Africa, Politics, 2/6/1999
Moroccan Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi expressed Friday Morocco's readiness to support the creation of sound structures for cooperation among African countries.
Youssoufi also called for more "frankness" in African relations to build sound and efficient cooperation.
Youssoufi made these remarks at a meeting in Rabat with a delegation of the African Regional Center for Technology, led by chairman of its ministers' council, Pierre John Igue, who is Benin's minister of industry and small and medium-sized enterprises.
Igue informed the prime minister on new management methods in the center to enable the institution to follow up the world's evolution as well as the center's desire to benefit from Morocco's experience in human resources and technical capacities.
He also handed Youssoufi two messages to King Hassan II from the Senegalese and the Beninese presidents.
The center's action is geared to support human and technological resources in Africa.
