Vacating a Palestinian building in Jerusalem

A source in the Arab Predial Bank confirmed the announcement of a building to house the bank's administration in Jerusalem but said that he is not authorized to comment on this step because it is out of his area of responsibility.

The sources said that all the bank's branches in Palestine, including Jerusalem, are affiliated to the bank's general administration in Cairo and not to the regional administration in Jordan.

The sources added that the Israeli magistrate's court decided to vacate the building of general administration of the Arab Predial Bank in Jerusalem after the owners of the building lodged a complaint to the Israeli court in which they demanded to vacate it as it was not being used.

The branch of the Preidal stopped presenting, banking services following the Israeli occupation of the West Bank to the Gaza Strip in 1967.

The Estate Bank was established unanimously by the Arab League's council under the name of the Arab Predial Company in 1947.
