New round of negotiations for Egyptian partnership with Europe

Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Partnership Affairs Gamal Bayoumi will leave to Brussels on Sunday to head an Egyptian delegation to a new round of partnership negotiations with the European Union.
Bayoumi said that during the upcoming joint meetings of Mediterranean and EU foreign ministers, known as the Barcelona declaration, which will be held in the German city of Stuttgart in April, the Egyptian - European partnership agreement will be endorsed.
He also stated that they are currently in the final stages of negotiations concerning the agricultural issues that were the main factor blocking the signing of the agreement until now.
