Iraqi ambassador presented his credentials to Annan

The new Iraqi ambassador to the UN, Saeed Hasan, 53, on Wednesday submitted his credentials to UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. Hasan, was an assistant to his predecessor, Nizar Hamdoun, who returned to the Iraqi Foreign Ministry. Hasan has served at the UN since 1994.
