Algerian - Jordanian commercial agreement

Amman and Algeria agreed yesterday to start work on a commercial cooperation agreement between the two countries signed in March 1997 after finishing the constitutional procedures in both countries.
The agreement aims at developing commercial exchange and removing administrative obstacles before the commercial exchange as well as exchanging agricultural and animal products, natural resources, industrial products of local origin. It would also exempt products of Algerian and Jordanian origin from customs fees and taxes, with exceptions for some goods.
