New joint Israeli - Turkish - US exercises

In compliance with the strategic military cooperation accord signed between Israel and Turkey, the two countries will shortly carry out joint naval maneuvers in the Mediterranean Sea with the participation of US forces, Israeli radio said.
The radio said that Israeli security and Turkish military officials on Tuesday held military talks in Ankara during which they decided to carry out these maneuvers. The military maneuvers aim at consolidating the strategic military cooperation between Ankara and Tel Aviv with the participation of the US.
