International conference on surgery opens in Muscat

The third international conference for surgery was opened in Muscat on Tuesday. It was organized by the surgery departments at the Sultani Hospital and the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in collaboration with the faculty of the British royal surgeons. The three-day conference, in which world-renowned surgeons are taking part, aims at discussing several medical topics including, kidney, lymph cancer removal, recent scientific developments in surgery on newborns and stomach diseases.
