$135 million Japanese loan for Tunis

Tunisian economic sources told ArabicNews.com that Japan agreed to grant Tunisia a loan of $135 million to finance building a bridge linking between a harbor in northern Tunis and Rades south harbor to facilitate traffic heading south without entering Tunis and projects for developing the sewage network.
Weekly information issued by the Tunisian embassy in Cairo reported that the interest rate on the loan will be 1.7%.
