Moroccan parliamentary delegation meets Japanese officials

The Moroccan parliamentary delegation which is currently visiting Japan had Sunday in Tokyo talks with several Japanese officials on cooperation prospects between the two countries in the economic, cultural and political fields.
The Moroccan delegation, led by Abdelouahed Radi, Speaker of the House of Representatives (lower house of the Moroccan bicameral parliament), met namely with head of the Foreign relations committee at the Japanese Parliament as well as with foreign affairs secretary of state.
Talks covered the Sahara issue, the situation of the Moroccan Northern cities of Sebta and Mellilia which are still controlled by Spain, cooperation prospects between Moroccan and Japanese parliaments and Morocco's efforts to promote human rights and enhance democratic process.
The Moroccan and Japanese officials also reviewed the evolution of trade exchanges, investments and the priority Moroccan development projects needing Japanese know-how backing and contribution.
